Zoe Atkins is a Los Angeles–born, San Francisco–based mixed media artist whose practice centers on ceramics and the expressive possibilities of material. Her work is rooted in everyday ritual and the intimacy of shared meals, creating functional vessels meant to be used, handled, and cherished. Beginning with wheel-thrown forms and then hand-altering them, she introduces movement and irregularity that highlight the human presence in each piece.
